Awesome and useful dictionary ;)

Good offline dictionary, but it needs more words, definitions and idioms. But the definitions of each word are really easy too understand, which is great.

Good app and free for that matter but try to make the voice work on iPhone

Just wished I could save longer lists of words I have looked up but this may be a feature you receive if you pay for it.

The app works great, I was looking for a dictionary app that works offline and was not disappointed! The only issue is that certain obscure words are not contained, but this is the same for most dictionarys

Probably best for more simple words. I was reading a fairly hard book for honors English and it had none of the words I was confused about. Plus it was obnoxious how you couldnt search from one word to another from the same page

Excellent to learn new words and grasp quickly the definition of a new term. I recommend it. Note that the research tool could be improved, as you cannot currently research a word from any definition page. Fixing this would increase the speed of usage of the dictionary:-)

As a language teacher, it helps me loads!

The usability is quite weak. The app has a bad word search mechanism (e.g. It should suggest a list of similar words once it cant find what Im looking for). The Bescherelle french dictionaire of synonymes is a good benchmark.
